Salmon is one of my favorite easy go-to meals at home. It’s quick to prepare and, if you use a sheet pan method, relatively hands off! This orange glazed salmon with honey and ginger is a new favorite. I hope you will love it too.

Citrus Honey Baked Salmon
I love salmon.
I used to be scared of making it at home because every time I tried it would end up dry and tough. But then I discovered a) the importance of a marinade and b) how to bake it properly.
I still haven’t mastered the art of pan seared salmon, but baked salmon? All over it.
Hello juicy, tender salmon!
I love making salmon at home because it’s so fast and easy – dinner can be on the table much quicker than with some of your other protein choices!
Orange Glazed Salmon Ingredients
Making this orange glazed salmon is easy as can be. Here’s what you need:
- salmon fillets
- oranges
- fresh ginger
- honey
- olive oil
- coriander
That’s it! If you want to pair it with some sides, I recommend roasted veggies (zucchini or cauliflower are delicious!) and brown rice or quinoa.
How to Make Baked Salmon with Orange Glaze
The key to this recipe (and to most baked salmon recipes, in my opinion) is to marinate your salmon. I like to keep things simple by both marinating and baking it in the same dish.
The marinade for this recipe mixes together orange juice, fresh ginger, ground coriander, olive oil, honey, salt and pepper for a bright and juicy combination that will keep your salmon nice and moist.
Once the marinade is ready, simply place your salmon in an oven-safe dish, then pour the marinade on top. Let sit for 30 minutes (while you preheat the oven to 375 degrees F).
Next, bake 12-15 minutes (depending how cooked you like your salmon), then get ready for a taste explosion.
I suggest serving the salmon with some rice or quinoa and veggies, but it would also be delicious atop salad!
Try my garlic herb roasted veggies for an easy veggie side option here – or my lemon garlic string beans!
