In addition to sharing simple, delicious recipes and quick meal ideas here on the blog, I’m also a Registered Dietitian with a nutrition counseling private practice. I graduated in 2012 with a Masters of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and started my private practice in early 2013. Since then, I have worked to provide life changing one-on-one nutrition coaching services to both local (in northern Virginia) and virtual clients.
I work with my clients using a method called Intuitive Eating, helping them to improve their relationships with and reduce stress about food. I believe in an “everything in moderation” approach and encourage clients to ditch the calorie counting and enjoy real, whole foods – and yes, that includes dessert!
I’m not a fan of dieting or rigid meal plans – I believe in working together to find an individual and realistic approach to nutrition that fits within your lifestyle, schedule, and goals. Let’s work together to make your nutrition habits feel sustainable and second nature rather than like an endless battle.
Working with me is not about deprivation, and we won’t be focusing on weight loss, but rather learning how to fuel your body in a way that feels best for you physically and that will nourish and sustain your daily activities. Using Intuitive Eating, we will get you back to enjoying – not fearing – food.

One Month Tune Up

My One Month Tune Up is for clients who want personalized assistance in troubleshooting and assuring that they are on the right track with their health and nutrition goals.
This package includes an initial 1 hour assessment and a 30 minute follow up. In our first session, we’ll discuss your past and current health habits, any medical concerns, and your health goals and expectations for the future. We’ll work together to create a realistic to-do list of actionable goals to implement before our follow up call! I’ll also review your typical food intake and provide you with personalized tips and meal and snack ideas that fit your lifestyle.
During the follow up session, we’ll check in on your goals, address any questions or concerns, and determine how we can best make your healthy lifestyle changes sustainable.
