Game Day Snacks & Appetizers
From healthy dips to sticky crockpot meatballs, these apps are all sure to be a hit for any sporting event!
Many of them are lightened-up (but just as flavorful) versions of classic appetizers. So delicious and easy to make.
#1: Healthier Seven Layer Dip
This is my all-time favorite appetizer recipe. The secret to this delicious dip? Using plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and mayonnaise! Your friends and family won’t even notice the difference… I promise. Every time I’ve made this it’s gone in 10 minutes flat.

#2: Baked Gluten Free Chicken Fingers
This recipe is a delicious alternative to the usual grease laden wings — they’re baked, but you won’t miss the grease because they’re crunchy and packed with flavor from the herbs. Serve with honey mustard, BBQ sauce, and ketchup!

#3: Hummus Queso Dip
The secret to this dip is that it’s made extra creamy (and a bit spicy – you can use regular hummus instead of spicy if you’re not into spice) and more nutritious by the addition of hummus! Don’t worry – there’s still some cheese in there, too. 😉
—
#4: Vegan Kale Artichoke Dip
This vegan variation on artichoke dip is creamy and savory but without being heavy or a total dairy bomb. There’s also kale in it, which basically makes it a salad. Right? 😉
—
#5: Pumpkin Bean Dip
This is another favorite and a big hit when I’ve made it for parties in the past. Garlicky and delicious — they’ll never know it’s packed with nutrition.
—
#6: Healthy Deviled Eggs
I’m a HUGE fan of deviled eggs, but not the fact that they’re usually drowning in mayo. Try this version made with yogurt and tangy mustard. Delish!
—
#7: Crockpot Honey Sriracha Turkey Meatballs
These ground turkey meatballs are made in the slow cooker with a delicious sticky honey sriracha sauce. Serve with toothpicks for a tasty appetizer that’s full of flavor. They’ll disappear quickly, so make a big batch if you’re having a lot of guests over!

#8: Baked Kale Chips (4 Ways)
Crispy kale chips are super easy to make in the oven! This post shares 4 different flavor combinations, so you can pick your favorite. The nacho cheese flavor would be especially perfect for game day.
#9: BBQ Chicken Sliders
These pulled chicken sliders are simple to make, and packed with flavor! From the homemade bbq sauce (it’s easier than it sounds!) to the tangy and crunchy coleslaw, these mini sandwiches will be a hit at any Super Bowl party.
#10: Baked Salmon Nuggets
These crispy, oven-baked salmon bites are easy to make and so tasty! They come together quickly and don’t require much effort. Pair them with your favorite dipping sauce (like this creamy yogurt honey mustard sauce)!
I hope you love these healthy Super Bowl snack recipes! Here are some more Super Bowl appetizers and healthy game day appetizers to enjoy.
