I’m having so much fun here in San Francisco!
The Foodbuzz Festival officially kicked off last night with a welcome reception/tasting event. We had an entire pavilion to ourselves! Cool 🙂

Check out the insane sunset that was happening when we arrived:
The pictures don’t even do it justice 🙂
And then — it was on to the food and mingling! Foodbuzz invited a bunch of vendors and they were set up all throughout the pavilion offering us tastes of this and that for dinner. YUM!
This was the best thing ever — pork belly sandwich!
Drool.
Did I mention there was an entire TABLE of mini cupcakes?! They actually spelled out “FOODBUZZ”!
Even cooler — The Food Network was there filming a new TV show about this cupcake company, Mission Minis, and Tina and I were filmed listening to the owner tell us about the cupcakes and asking him questions! Cool! I hope we make it on 🙂
The other highlight of the night? Seeing good friends and meeting new ones 🙂

I’m sad I didn’t get a full picture of my outfit — I had on gray leggings and the cutest light brown almost cowboy-ish boots 🙂
This morning’s adventure was a 4.5 mile run down to the pier and back with a bunch of other bloggers, and then breakfast! We hit up a place down the street called Bread and Cocoa for their awesome steel cut oatmeal and toppings bar. The perfect post-run fuel!

And then — a few of us decided to be naughty and instead of going to the morning sessions at the hotel… we headed back down to the pier for the famous San Francisco Farmer’s Market!

Miss Kath being photogenic and perusing the goods 🙂
Love that it’s right on the water!
[we found Meghann, too!]
If I lived here, I would come to the farmers market every weekend. 🙂
Time to get ready for the next outing — a tasting pavilion, similar to last night, but apparently even better! I can’t wait.
