Well… the exam was kind of a debacle. At least it’s over? (I hope… unless I have to take the stupid class again… which would be lame since I got A’s in all 7 of my other prereqs!). The worst part is now I have to play the waiting game — unfortunately I won’t find out for a week or so how I did… ugh. Crossing fingers and hoping by some miracle (or by a huge curve) I pull off a passing grade. Hardest test EVER. But thank you so much for all your sweet good luck wishes 🙂
After doing what any mature 27 year old does in such a situation (called my mom in tears), I pulled myself together and enjoyed the rest of my day 🙂
First stop — lunch with my friend Michelle!
Yay! Michelle is my friend from my Microbiology class this summer and I heart her. She lives with her husband and kids (yes, kids — she has 3! doesn’t she look young??) down south where our class was, so since I took my final exam down there today, it was perfect to meet up one last time before I leave!
We met at Wegmans — yum!! I hit up their salad bar and got all sorts of fun stuff:
I got some lettuce & spinach and topped it with all sorts of bean salads, a tabouli salad, some curried tofu, green beans, broccoli and who knows what else 🙂
With a side of fruit!
Ah, watermelon. Why must you be so tasty and so heavy and expensive at salad bars?
After lunch, I FINALLY went and got my hair cut (my head feels 13908203948 times lighter), and then I picked up a copy of this awesome book 😉
I’m hoping I can get the author to sign it for me next weekend 😉
And now I’m off again! Matt’s company is having a cocktail party thingy tonight — perfect timing to show off my nice straight hair!
Have a great night!
p.s. — Have you guys tried the new Carrot Cake Larabar yet?! I had it today and it was AMAZING. I think it’s my new fave!
