I have a new obsession.
It’s been so hot here that pretty much all I want to eat are smoothies. I may have had one for dinner last night. Don’t judge. (Some pita chips and hummus made the cut, too. I’m so classy.)
My new favorite smoothie? A hidden veggie Cherry Lemon Smoothie. You’ve got your protein (milk and yogurt), veggies (spinach — can’t taste it!), and fruity antioxidants (cherries + lemon). Total win.
The key ingredient? This new lemon Chobani. I am OBSESSED. Best yogurt ever. And I don’t say that lightly.
Hidden Veggie Cherry Lemon Smoothie
Ingredients (for 1 smoothie):
1 6oz. container Chobani nonfat lemon Greek yogurt
6 frozen cherries
1 very large handful baby spinach
3/4 cup nonfat or lowfat milk
4 ice cubes
Instructions:
1) Toss everything in a blender and whirl away!
2) Dive in headfirst. Try not to swoon because it’s so delicious.
